Right — been on this thing for maybe five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

The reason I started using it was actually a bit daft — I couldn’t ever figure out what an e/w return would be with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just wing it and get a shock. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the part I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and you get returns with no faffing, either odds format. It also handles the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where most people I know mess it up. If you want a look, it’s here super heinz buchmacher and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What really made a difference is the geekier bits. There’s an probability thing which shows you the overround, plus a kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its design feels very functional, let’s say — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable but the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, just the site — fine by me but you asked.

Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you still does the maths on paper, try it — saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
