Right — been using this thing for about five months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I couldn’t ever figure out what an each way return would be with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d guess and then be surprised. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — type in your stake, the odds and it shows the return instantly, fractions or decimals. There’s also the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, which is where most people I know lose track. What actually shifted things for me was the geekier tools. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator that shows the overround, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is handy too when I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout feels a bit basic — no flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s fine although the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.
Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, works. Anyone who even now adds it up in their head, try it — saves me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
