OK — been on this thing for about a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d say something since someone asked me the other day. Am UK based, mainly bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was genuinely a bit daft — I never could figure out what an ew return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just wing it and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — you drop in stake and odds and you get profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, which is where I’d always got it wrong. One thing that genuinely changed how I bet were the nerdier bits. There’s an implied probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. The design looks pretty plain — not much polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works although the acca grid are a squeeze. And nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.
Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. Anyone who even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
