So — have been messing about with this thing for something like six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m based in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.
What got me on it was genuinely pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an ew return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator is the bit I open most — type in stake and odds and it spits out returns straight away, either odds format. It also handles the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, and that’s where I always lose track. What actually changed how I bet is the geekier bits. They’ve got an implied probability thing which shows you the overround, and a kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners.
Couple of gripes. Its layout is very functional, let’s say — not much frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.
Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does what it says. If you even now adds it up in their head, try it — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
