So — been on this thing for something like five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d write something up since someone asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was actually embarrassing — I couldn’t ever work out what an ew return would be when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and get a shock. These days I type the odds in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and it spits out profit and total return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where I always lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at double bet and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that actually changed how I bet is the nerdier extras. There’s an probability thing which shows you the overround, and there’s the kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too for when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its design feels pretty plain — zero flash, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s usable though the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And no app, just the site — fine by me but worth saying.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If anyone honestly works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
