OK — been on this thing for about six months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I could never get my head round what an ew return would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and you get the return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, which is where I’d always got it wrong. One thing that genuinely made a difference were the nerdier extras. They’ve got an implied probability converter and it makes obvious the overround, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I’m covering two or three runners.
It’s not perfect mind. The layout looks a bit basic — not much polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable but the bigger tables are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, it’s browser only — fine by me just flagging it.
Right, that’s me. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
