ParticipantPublicRight — have been messing about with this thing for maybe five months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
The reason I started using it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never figure out what an each way return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just wing it and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before I place anything, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator is the one I open most — you put in stake and odds and it spits out returns straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, which is where most people I know mess it up. Have a go yourself, it’s here super heinz bet365 and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
What actually shifted things for me were the nerdier bits. The probability calculator that shows what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit if I’m splitting a race.
It’s not perfect mind. Its design is very functional, let’s say — zero flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works although the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And nothing on the app store, just the site — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.
Right, that’s me. Free, not plastered in adverts, works. If you still adds it up in their head, try it — it’s saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.
