So — been using this thing for about five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since a mate asked me the other day. I’m UK based, generally bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.

The reason I started using it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never work out what an ew payout actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the multiples — trebles maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where I’d always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at free heinz bet calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that actually made a difference was the geekier extras. They’ve got an probability converter that shows the overround, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. The interface feels very functional, let’s say — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it works although the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.

So yeah. Free, not plastered in adverts, works. If you even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — it’s saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
