OK — been using this thing for something like six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m UK based, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
How I found it was genuinely a bit daft — I could never work out what an e/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. I’d just eyeball it and get a shock. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator is the bit I open most — you put in your stake, the odds and it shows returns instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that’s where I’d always mess it up. What really shifted things for me is the nerdier tools. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. The interface looks a bit basic — not much polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s fine but the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but you asked.
Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. Anyone who still does the maths on paper, give it a go — it’s saved me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.
