So — been using this thing for something like five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me last week. Am UK based, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, for context.

What got me on it was actually embarrassing — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an ew return would be when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — you drop in stake and odds and it spits out the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, which is where I always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it’s over at how to calculate implied probability with fractional odds and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that actually changed how I bet was the geekier tools. They’ve got an probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is handy too if I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. The layout looks very functional, let’s say — not much polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s usable though the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

So yeah. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If you still adds it up in their head, have a look — saves me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
