ParticipantPublicRight — been on this thing for maybe five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mainly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.
How I found it was actually embarrassing — I could never work out what an each way payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just wing it and get a shock. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — you drop in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. There’s also the multiples — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that’s where most people I know lose track. If you want a look, it’s over at advanced matched betting calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.
One thing that actually changed how I bet is the geekier bits. They’ve got an implied probability thing that shows the overround, and a kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I’m spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. The design is a bit basic — not much polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. There’s no app, it’s browser only — slight shame but you asked.
So yeah. Free, barely any ads, does what it says. If you even now adds it up in their head, try it — it’s saved me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
