OK — been using this thing for maybe five months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am UK based, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.
The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I never could work out what an e/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and get a shock. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator is the part I open most — you put in stake and odds and it shows returns straight away, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that’s where I always lose track. The thing that genuinely changed how I bet is the more serious extras. They’ve got an implied probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too if I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. The design feels very functional, let’s say — not much flash, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s usable though the acca grid are a squeeze. Also there’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.
So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, works. If you honestly does the maths on paper, give it a go — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
