So — been on this thing for about five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am UK based, mostly bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was actually pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever figure out what an each way payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I open most — type in stake and odds and you get returns instantly, either odds format. There’s also the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, and that’s where I’d always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it lives at matched betting profit calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What actually changed how I bet was the geekier tools. There’s an odds-to-probability thing and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and a kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one is decent if I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. The layout feels very functional, let’s say — no polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it works although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.

Right, that’s me. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If anyone honestly does the maths on paper, try it — saves me a load of arguments with the bookie.
