So — been using this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, small stakes, for context.
The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I never could get my head round what an e/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even the boring singles.
The single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — you drop in stake and odds and it spits out the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. The thing that really shifted things for me is the nerdier extras. There’s an probability converter and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one is decent when I’m covering two or three runners.
Couple of gripes. The interface feels a bit basic — not much frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable but the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. There’s no proper app, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.
Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, works. If you honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
