Right — been on this thing for about five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me last week. I’m UK based, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
How I found it was genuinely a bit daft — I could never work out what an e/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. I used to just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now I type the odds in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — you drop in the price and your stake and you get returns with no faffing, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, and that’s where most people I know lose track. The thing that really made a difference was the nerdier bits. There’s an implied probability thing and it makes obvious the overround, and a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.
Couple of gripes. Its design looks a bit basic — zero flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s fine although the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. There’s no app, just the site — slight shame just flagging it.
Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. Anyone who even now adds it up in their head, have a look — saves me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.
