OK — been on this thing for maybe six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an each way return actually came to when the place terms changed. I’d just wing it and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator is the bit I open most — type in the price and your stake and it shows the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. One thing that genuinely shifted things for me is the nerdier tools. There’s an implied probability calculator which shows you what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one is handy too if I’m splitting a race.
Couple of gripes. The interface looks a bit basic — zero polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it works although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.
So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does what it says. If anyone even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
