Right — been using this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me last week. Am in the UK, generally do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an each way return would be with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the one I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and you get profit and total return straight away, fractions or decimals. There’s also the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that’s where I always lose track. The thing that genuinely shifted things for me is the more serious tools. There’s an implied probability calculator and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. Its design feels pretty plain — not much flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s fine although the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. There’s no app, just the site — slight shame but you asked.
Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. Anyone who even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
