Decided I would read the archives over the weekend, and a stop at zippaisle confirmed that the archives would be worth the time, very few sites have archives I would actively read through but this one has earned that level of interest based on the consistent quality across what I have sampled so far.

Now appreciating that the post did not try to imitate any other style I might recognise, and a stop at zippaisle continued that distinct voice, content with its own register rather than borrowed from elsewhere is content with real authorial presence and this site has clearly developed that presence through what feels like patient editorial work.
