OK — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, generally bet football and racing, nothing mad, for context.

The reason I started using it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an each way payout actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d eyeball it and get a shock. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you put in your stake, the odds and you get profit and total return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know lose track. If you want a look, it’s here matched betting calc — free, no signup.

One thing that actually shifted things for me were the more serious bits. The probability thing which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly staking calculator — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent when I’m spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. The layout looks a bit basic — no frills, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s usable but the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.

Anyway. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. If you even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.

So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an e/w payout would be once you get five places instead of three. I used to just eyeball it and get a shock. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and it shows the return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, which is where most people I know lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here lucky 15 ew calculator — free, no signup.

The thing that actually changed how I bet is the geekier bits. They’ve got an odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and a kelly calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is decent when I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. The design looks pretty plain — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it works though the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And no app, just the site — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. Anyone who still works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — it’s saved me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.
