OK — been using this thing for maybe four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am UK based, mainly stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I could never work out what an ew payout would be once you get five places instead of three. I used to just wing it and moan when the payout landed. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the bit I open most — you put in the price and your stake and you get the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. There’s also the multiples — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, yankees, and that’s where most people I know lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at what is a super heinz in betting and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that really shifted things for me is the nerdier bits. There’s an odds-to-probability converter that shows the overround, and a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is handy too if I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The layout looks very functional, let’s say — no flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s fine though the bigger tables are a squeeze. Also there’s no proper app, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, works. If you honestly works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
