OK — have been messing about with this thing for maybe four months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m UK based, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.
What got me on it was honestly a bit daft — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an e/w payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d guess and get a shock. Now I type the odds in before I place anything, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and you get returns straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — acca and treble maths, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where I’d always got it wrong. One thing that actually shifted things for me were the nerdier bits. There’s an odds-to-probability thing and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout looks a bit basic — no polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it works but the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no proper app, it’s browser only — slight shame but you asked.
Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — it’s saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.
